Recruitment Privacy Notice
Scope: candidates using Mumly Careers (CV uploads, matching, employer intros).
Data: identity/contact, employment/skills, optional special category with consent, application notes, technical data.
Sources: you, employers, public professional sources, recruitment tools.
Legal Bases: legitimate interests, contract, consent (special categories), legal obligations.
Use: profiles, sharing with employers (with permission), matching, interviews, comms, records, anti-fraud, compliance.
Sharing: employers/recruiters; processors (CRM, email, video interview); regulators; internal teams.
Employers as independent controllers once data is shared.
International transfers with safeguards (SCCs/adequacy).
Retention: 12 months from last activity (unless deletion requested).
Rights: access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, portability; complain to ICO. Contact: support@mumly.co.uk.
Automated decisions: AI matching with human review on request.
Safeguarding roles: DBS/RTW/quals per law.
Withdraw & delete anytime.
Candidate Terms & Conditions
- Introduction
These Candidate Terms & Conditions (“Candidate Terms”) apply to all individuals who create an account, apply for roles,
or engage with Employers on the Mumly Platform. By using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms and the
Mumly Terms of Use.
- Eligibility
2.1 Candidates must be 18 years or older.
2.2 Candidates must provide truthful, accurate and up‑to‑date information.
2.3 Mumly may request identity verification where necessary.
- Candidate Accounts
3.1 You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login details.
3.2 You must notify Mumly immediately at support@mumly.co.uk if you suspect misuse of your account.
3.3 You may delete your account at any time.
- Use of the Platform
4.1 You must only apply for roles you have a genuine interest in.
4.2 You must not submit false information, fake applications or impersonate another person.
4.3 You must behave respectfully and professionally when interacting with Employers.
4.4 You agree not to scrape, mine, copy or harvest Platform content.
- Applications & Job Matching
5.1 Mumly does not guarantee job placement.
5.2 Employers alone determine suitability, interview invitations and hiring decisions.
5.3 Mumly may remove or restrict your access if repeated issues or misuse occur.
- Prohibited Conduct
Candidates must not:
– harass or abuse Employers or other users;
– upload misleading, unsafe or unlawful content;
– use automated tools or bots;
– attempt to bypass platform processes;
– misuse or reshare Employer contact details.
- Safety & Safeguarding
7.1 Your safety is important. Report any concerns to support@mumly.co.uk.
7.2 You must not attend interviews in unsafe locations or provide unnecessary personal information.
7.3 Any safeguarding concerns involving children or vulnerable adults may be escalated to relevant authorities.
- Candidate Data Responsibilities
8.1 You may only use Employer information for genuine job-seeking purposes.
8.2 You must not store or reuse Employer details for unrelated purposes.
8.3 Any data breach concerns must be reported immediately.
- Liability
9.1 Mumly is not responsible for:
– hiring outcomes;
– Employer conduct;
– accuracy of job listings;
– interview or workplace experiences;
– employment disputes.
9.2 Candidates are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence before accepting any role.
- Suspension & Termination
Mumly may suspend or terminate a Candidate account where:
– policy breaches occur;
– fraudulent or harmful behaviour is identified;
– safeguarding risks arise;
– required information is not provided.
- Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Accuracy: true CV, real qualifications, accurate history.
Applications: sent to employers; Mumly cannot guarantee responses.
Listings: we may remove illegal/misleading ones.
Matching: CV assessment, recommendations, screening; some automation with human review.
Conduct: no harassment, misrepresentation, fraud, abuse, bypassing processes.
Safeguarding roles: DBS/refs/ID/quals may be required.
No candidate fees.
Data: handled per Privacy Policy & Recruitment Privacy Notice.
Liability: Mumly not liable for employer decisions or workplace issues.
Termination: for breaches or misconduct. Law: E&W.
Employer Terms & Conditions
- Introduction
These Employer Terms & Conditions (“Employer Terms”) govern the use of the Mumly Platform by Employers seeking to
advertise roles, contact candidates, or hire through Mumly Careers Ltd. By creating an Employer account or posting a
job on the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and the Mumly Terms of Use.
- Employer Eligibility
2.1 Employers must be legitimate UK businesses, organisations or registered sole traders.
2.2 Employers must ensure all information supplied is true, accurate and lawful.
2.3 Mumly may request verification documents at any time.
- Employer Accounts
3.1 Employers are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of their business information.
3.2 Any misuse of the account must be reported immediately to support@mumly.co.uk.
3.3 Employers must ensure only authorised staff access the account.
- Job Listings & Recruitment Activity
4.1 Job listings must be:
– clear, accurate and lawful;
– non-discriminatory (Equality Act 2010 compliant);
– free of misleading claims;
– appropriate for a family-focused platform.
4.2 Prohibited job listings include:
– roles involving unsafe or unlawful activity;
– misleading earnings claims;
– pyramid schemes or multi-level marketing (MLM);
– inappropriate adult or unethical jobs.
4.3 Mumly may edit, decline or remove listings that violate policies.
- Hiring Responsibilities
Employers agree to:
– conduct lawful right-to-work checks;
– issue correct employment contracts;
– ensure safe working environments;
– meet safeguarding obligations where children or vulnerable individuals are involved;
– comply with UK employment law at all times.
- Safeguarding Requirements
6.1 Any role involving children or vulnerable adults requires strict compliance with UK safeguarding law, including DBS checks.
6.2 Mumly may suspend or terminate an Employer account where safeguarding concerns arise.
6.3 Employers must report any safeguarding concerns to: support@mumly.co.uk.
- Fees & Payments
7.1 Employers agree to pay fees for job posts, candidate access, or hiring commission as described in the Mumly Employer Pricing Schedule.
7.2 Mumly reserves the right to update fees with notice.
7.3 All fees are non-refundable unless legally required.
- Prohibited Employer Conduct
Employers must not:
– misuse candidate data;
– contact candidates for non-job-related purposes;
– harvest, scrape or export platform data;
– attempt to bypass Mumly to avoid commission;
– post fake jobs or conduct recruitment fraud.
- Candidate Data & GDPR Compliance
Employers must:
– use candidate data solely for recruitment;
– comply fully with UK GDPR;
– not store candidate data longer than necessary;
– delete candidate information upon request where legally required.
Any breach must be reported to support@mumly.co.uk.
- Liability & Indemnity
10.1 Mumly does not guarantee successful hiring outcomes.
10.2 Employers are solely responsible for vetting and hiring decisions.
10.3 Employers indemnify Mumly against claims arising from:
– employment disputes;
– unlawful job listings;
– discrimination or harassment;
– breach of employment or data law.
- Termination & Suspension
Mumly may suspend or terminate an Employer account for:
– repeated policy breaches;
– illegal or discriminatory hiring practices;
– safety or safeguarding concerns;
– reputational or legal risks to Mumly.
- Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Eligibility: registered business; lawful, non-discriminatory roles.
Job Listings: accurate, up-to-date, inclusive; no MLM/crypto/unlawful roles; no candidate fees.
Responsibilities: professional process, timely responses, GDPR compliance, secure candidate data, lawful checks (DBS/RTW), equality laws.
Use of Candidate Data: only for recruitment; no marketing without consent; delete on request; no onward sharing; security required.
Fees: postings/subscriptions/introduction or hiring fees for premium services; invoices; non-payment may suspend listings.
Introductions & Hiring: Mumly-introduced candidates may attract a fee; notify Mumly upon hire; no fee-circumvention.
Concerns: provide evidence-based feedback; no blacklisting.
Prohibited: harassment, discrimination, unlawful data requests, false offers, bypassing Mumly.
Liability, Suspension, Indemnity, Changes, Law: as drafted previously.

Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
Parties: Mumly Careers Ltd (Controller) and Vendor/Employer/Service Provider (Processor).
Purpose: fulfil bookings, deliver services, recruitment activities, tech services, payments, admin.
Subjects: parents, children, vendors, candidates, employers.
Data: name, email, phone, child’s first name/age, booking data, address, employment data, CV, billing, special category (only with explicit consent).
Processor Obligations: process only on instructions; security; confidentiality; training; breach notice within 24h; deletion/return; no marketing without consent; assist with rights; logs; UK GDPR compliance.
Sub-processors: require written permission and flow-down of obligations.
Transfers: UK safeguards (SCCs/adequacy) with approval.
Breaches: notify within 24h with details and mitigation.
Security: encryption, access control, audits, transmission security, physical controls, training, incident response.
Rights: assist with access/rectify/erase/restrict/port/objection within 48h.
Deletion: delete/return data at end; confirm within 7 days; retain only if law requires.
Audit: 7 days’ notice; provide records and proof.
Liability/Indemnity: processor liable and indemnifies Mumly for non-compliance.
Duration: runs with principal agreement; obligations survive termination.
Law: England & Wales.
